Product Overview
PolyTone Series – TP is a water-based flexographic ink specifically formulated to provide superior adhesion, gloss, and print quality on polyethylene (PE) coated packaging surfaces. Its formulation is optimized for laminated packaging; it offers excellent performance even with strong colors and in high-speed printing. Thanks to its high water resistance, high color density, and fast drying properties, it provides maximum efficiency on PE-surface packaging printing lines.

Technical Information
- Viscosity: 18 – 50 seconds (DIN CUP 4, 25°C)
- Dilution Ratio: Depending on the ink color, dilution with 5% – 10% water is recommended
- Printing System: Suitable for flexographic printing systems
Application Recommendations
- Ensure the ink is well mixed and homogeneous before printing.
- For best adhesion on laminated films, the surface tension should be above 38 dyn/cm.
- Clean the plates and anilox rollers with water during long printing stops.
Storage and Shelf Life
- Unopened Packaging: Can be stored for up to 6 months in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight.
- After Opening: It is recommended to use it within a short time.
- Viscosity may increase at low temperatures; bring to room temperature before use.
